Yellow September: Have you got to try to prevent the suicide?

On last Wednesday (20th), some 12th grade classes from CIEP 117 Carlos Drummond de Andrade did an event about the Yellow September that is a movement to prevent the suicide, especially in young people. However, suicide occurs with all types of people.

According to World Health Organisation (WHO), more than 800,000 people commit suicide per year in all entire world.

A lot of people in that school probably has some kind of bad experience in their lives, and with this they can think in suicide to solve their problems. Therefore, it is not the right way.

The people at school did great things. The responsible teacher, Ramila Granja, did some kind of little lecture. Students has fun, they danced, they played funny jokes, etc.

"Well, I think that the event was a good thing to students that think in things like that, you know? Because they had chance to forgot bad things for a moment, even if that was a no longer moment.". Answered a student about the question: "What do you think about the Yellow September in our school?".

Finally, do not close your eyes, pay attention, sometimes people can be smiling, but with suicidal thoughts. Suicide is not attention grabbing.
