Kashmir is a region disputed by India and Pakistan, this territorial conflict has been going for decades since 1947.

The territory is shared between the countries and it’s controlled 55% by India, 30% by Pakistan and 15% by China.

How it Started?

30 Indian tourists were murdered in

Kashmir by armed groups considered terrorists by New Delhi- insurgents by slambad.

India blamed Pakistan for those deaths while the accused denied the accusation.

But the tensions between India and Pakistan have increased since this occurrencing.

“The water war”

An agreement signed in 1960 states that both countries should share the control of six rivers of Kashmir- rivers get together to form the Indus river, in Pakistan. The rivers which supply Pakistan born in India.

However, lately India has been threatening Pakistan with “water cuts” the first India minister, Narenda Modi declared.

“The water that belongs to India and that until now flowed out will be retained to serve to our interests and will be utilized inside the country”

The Pakistan reaction was to warm that any trying into modifying the fluxes of those rivers would be considered a war act.

Pakistan affirmed that it has safe sources that India would be willing to attack the country, but if Pakistan has safe sources that would mean a Pakistani spy in Indian territory.

Because of that started the biggest aerial battle of 20th century, airplanes colliding and so on.
