The International Biology Olympiad also known as IBO, is an event where students from many countries around the world compete about Biology issues. IBO started in 1990 with the participation of Eastern Germany, Belgium, Bulgaria, Poland, Soviet Union and Czech - Slovakia. The goal was that high school students learn more about Biology and for students who also wanted to learn Biology. To engage in the International Biology Olympiad it is necessary first to be the TOP FOUR students in the National Biology Olympiad. Participants should range between 14 to 19 years old. It is a good opportunity, a good experience. So, if you like Biology and want to do it, TRY it now! Remember, you always can!
