Rumors have emerged on the internet for years about this topic, many Internet users say that no other country other than Venezuela, Brazil and Cuba use electronic voting machines.

But this statement is false, not only these countries use electronic voting machines but also many others use them as well.

Examples of these countries are Canada, India, France, and some states of the United States also use it.

According to the International Institute for Democracy and Social Assistance (IDEA international), 23 countries use electronic voting machines in their general electoral processes and another 18 countries use them in regional elections.

In other words, this information is false and extremely sensationalist, Internet users have been using this fake News as an argument against our electoral process strategy "if only 3 underdeveloped countries use this technology, wouldn't it be unsafe?" But this is not true, it is even worth noting that the Brazilian electoral process is a reference on the world stage.
