The 2025 Grammy Awards was the 67th edition this year, and featured several musical highlights and impactful speeches.

If you like the music industry you probably heard critiscism about the Grammy awards, people used to be furious about the winners, specially from the main categories.
One clear exemple of it is Beyoncé, she has multiple Grammy nominations and was an important key in the history of music and also for the black fight for a space in highlights areas. However she has never winned an AOTY (album of the year). 
We also had the third black woman in history to win the best rap album category: Doechii. In the history of the Grammy Awards, only 2 black women have won this award, Cardi B and Lauryn Hill. And now, we had the opportunity to witness their talent being recognized. In addition, the artist of the best rap album - "The Aliggator Bites Never Heal" - had her award presented by Cardi B herself, which is certainly an iconic moment.
This year people in general are more satisfied with the winners and nominations because Beyoncé finally got the recognition she deserves and that we have waited for so long too.

  • Beyoncé: "Album of the year", "Best country album".
  • Kendrick Lamar: "Song of the year", "Recording of the year", "Best video clip", "Best rap song", "Best rap performance".
  • Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars: "Best pop performance of duo or group".
  • Shakira: "Best Latin pop album".
  • Chappell Roan: "Revelation artist".
  • Sabrina Carpenter: "Best solo pop peformance", "Best vocal pop album".
  • Doechii: "Best rap album".

This year's Grammy was also an opportunity for singers to position themselves on important topics, as Shakira who spoke about the immigrants and Chapell Roan who made a powerful speech asking record companies to pay more attention to the physical and mental health of artists.
Some fans of artists were sad about them not getting any prize as Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo, but the own artists had a lot of fun in the premiere and were happy for their companions.
However, the performances were very well spoken in the criticism and they had big name as Sabrina carpenter, Benson Boone, Chappel Roan, Doechii, Raye and Teddy Swims.
